I follow the usual suspects in the financial world such as Jim Cramer and Warren Buffet.  I watch CNBC, Bloomberg, some Fox Business, etc.  However, it is more like listen though, since I have CNBC always on satellite radio and Mad Money podcast downloaded daily.

Another good clue as to quick stock picks is to listen to NPR in the mornings for breaking stories on companies, which mostly effect what price they will open up at.

I do follow the philosophy of Jim Cramer.  Just go with your gut and go with what you know and own.  Do not try to stray too far from your wheelhouse.  If you’ve had excellent or terrible customer service over a variety of times (can’t just go by outliers here), this could be a very good clue into the psyche of a company and its future.
